On Thursday and Friday the AGI 2007 Conference Team got together at the conference venue in Stratford on Avon to work on the programme.
The venue is fantastic and all of the team were excited at the prospect of running a conference there. The layout of the venue will enable us to have up to 5 sessions running in parallel at the peak times of the conference and provides a great space for networking with colleagues.
We started the process of building our GeoCommunity by working on the conference programme. The standard of papers submitted was exceptionally high and there was lively discussion about which ones to include in the programme. I am very excited about the programme that we created as a team.
