My pal Ed Freyfogle interviewed me for the GeoHipster series while we were in Berlin for wherecamp.
I thought it was going to be too long and rambling but the nice folk at GeoHipster decided to publish all of it despite the fact that I suggested that I wasn’t a GeoHipster and was more of a GeoHippy.
Atanas Entchev, who is the man behind GeoHipster, suggested that the difference between a hipster and a hippy is that the former are apolitical, well if that’s the case I’m definitely not a hipster.
I thought I would offer up an early photo of a long haired, idealistic me as a seasonal offering and to prompt some rude comment. Who else has got one from the 60’s that they would like to share?

I see your long-haired photo, and I raise you a long-haired and long-bearded photo:

Now I will have to go searching for one of my beardy ones to see if I can match that and add in a kaftan and an Afghan coat 🙂
