Every football fan indulges in the past-time of double guessing the manager. “if only he had picked so and so ….” “He should have played this formation ….” “He should have changed this ….” we have all done it and even if you are not a football fan you will have double guessed someone else, perhaps Tony Blair?
Imagine what it would be like if one morning Arsenal phoned you up and said “Steven, Arsene has had to go off to manage the French national side and we need a manager.” How would you reply? You can guess what I would say.
